The verdict
Our read at a glance.
Whether an orally active pan-ERR agonist is a meaningful improvement on SLU-PP-332, and whether either belongs anywhere near a human without trial data.
- The signal
- Reported as a chemically distinct pan-ERR agonist with balanced potency across ERRalpha, ERRbeta and ERRgamma rather than isoform selectivity, and with exercise-capacity effects in rodents that persist when it is given by mouth rather than by injection. The published record is smaller than SLU-PP-332's and is confined to the compound-development and exercise-capacity papers.
- The unknown
- Everything downstream of the rodent work: human pharmacokinetics, whether oral exposure in humans resembles the rodent profile, chronic tolerability, and whether the metabolic benefits reported for SLU-PP-332 extend to this analog at all.
- Our read
- A newer molecule with a smaller literature than the one it follows. Community discussion frequently treats SLU-PP-332 evidence as though it applies here; it does not automatically, and the SLU-PP-915 record is thinner than most posts imply.
The mechanism
How it works.
Safety & regulatory boundary
The consequential part.
Not approved anywhere, no registered human trial, and covered by the same anti-doping analytical work as SLU-PP-332, so it is treatable as a prohibited substance in tested sport. Oral availability makes casual use easier without making it better evidenced.
What's next
What we're watching.
Independent replication, any first-in-human data, and direct head-to-head rodent comparisons against SLU-PP-332 on both efficacy and safety.
Context
Why this is discussed.
Oral dosing removes the main practical barrier to self-experimentation, so interest in SLU-PP-915 tends to run ahead of its much smaller evidence base.
